Rhodes is located in the eastern Aegean Sea  is  the capital of the Dodecanese complex .

Historically, Rhodes was famous worldwide for the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Medieval Old Town of the City of Rhodes has been declared a World Heritage Site. Today, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe.

The Old Town of Rhodes is a mosaic of different cultures and civilizations and the highlight is the Palace of the Grand Master. Outside the walls of the Old Town lies the “new” city, with its magnificent Venetian, neoclassic and modern buildings.

Southern Rhodes will enchant you with its sun-drenched bays stretch from Kiotari and Genadi to Lahania, Plimiri and Prassonisi, the southernmost tip of the island and a popular location for windsurfing and kitesurfing. Enjoy a leisurely evening stroll around the picturesque settlement of Líndos.Nestling at the foot of a steep rock and beautifully surrounded by the sea lies the traditional settlement of Líndos; on the top of the same rock stands a centuries-old acropolis, proudly overlooking the archipelagos.

From Rhodes you can visit Kastellorizo which is the easternmost island in Greece with just 300 inhabitants today and a magnificent town of neo-classical houses. Halki, famous for tis Theological School (unfortunately no more operational )  is another small island close to Rhodes that you can visit. Symi island is just one hour away from the port of Rhodes famous for the beautiful preserved neoclassicval buildings and the Archangel Michael monastery at Panormitis.
